Opportunities

Do you have time to spare? Please be invited to join the volunteer team at HKMM. Our volunteers, ranging from Captains, retired shipping executives to college students, help with school visits, family programs, guided tours, and administrative support. 

Internship Opportunities

HKMM, started as a private museum and first opened its doors in 2005 and relocated to Pier 8 in 2013. As a charity, HKMM offers unpaid internships year-round, providing valuable experience to over 200 students since its inception.

[Part Time] Ship Bridge Simulator Supervisor

The objective of this position is to supervise the operation of the Museum’s ship bridge simulator, a facility which provides a simulated experience to visitors to steer a variety of ships and learn the various roles of seafarers in a ‘sea journey’.​​​

Accounts Clerk

The objective of this position is to take care the day-to-day input of data into MYOB accounting system and assist in handling of the compilation of accounting documents.
