About the Event
This photo talk by Edward Stokes, curator of Voyage Through Time, will explore the exhibition’s maritime photos taken between the 1940s and 1970s. The images are by Hedda Morrison (1946 – 1947), Brian Brake (1960s – 1970s), and Edward Stokes (1979). Each, in different ways, vividly captured ever-changing Victoria Harbour. Edward will weave into the presentation aspects of his own life and photography, beginning with arriving by ship at Hong Kong in 1953.
