The Hong Kong Maritime Museum is pleased to partner with PolyU to co-organize the Employability Skill Workshop 2024 – Waste Management Industry, a seminar that focus on the current developments and opportunities in the recycling industry, circular economy approaches to waste management, and the employability skills related to the waste management industry. This event is specially designed for professionals, students, environmentalists, policymakers, and enthusiasts in the waste management sector, offering insights into current developments and future opportunities.

Seminar 1: Current Developments and Opportunities of the Recycling Industry
Speaker: Mr. Kenny Lam, Founder of Love Recycling Plus

Seminar 2: Circular Economy Approaches to Waste Management
Speaker: Ms. Michelle Au, Director of Sustainability, China State Construction

Remarks: This workshop is fully funded by the Research Grants Council (RGC) of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region under the Inter-Institutional Development Scheme (UGC/IIDS24/B01/23)). It promises to be an informative session providing valuable knowledge and networking opportunities. The seminar is free of charge.
