About the Event
How much do you know about the birds in Hong Kong? Despite its small size, Hong Kong has more than 570 species of wild birds, which is one third of the species of wild birds in China. If you are interested in Hong Kong’s wild birds, please join the book talk of “HKBWS Field Guide to the Birds of Hong Kong and South China” which is co-oraganised by Hong Kong Maritime Museum and The Hong Kong Bird Watching Society (HKBWS).
The book has been receiving much attention among birders and nature lovers since its release and it was always a full house at every book sharing session. Invited by the museum, the upcoming sharing session will be hosted by Mr Yat-tung Yu, Director of HKBWS, and will be joined by guest speakers Mr Chiu-ying Lam, Honorary President of HKBWS, Mr Kam-cheong Lee, Editor-in-Chief of “HKBWS Field Guide to the Birds of Hong Kong and South China” and Mr Dickson Wong, Vice Chairman of HKBWS.
