Harbourfront for the People – Challenges and Opportunities

28 Apr 2018 11:00-13:30

Harbourfront Forum

How to Plan a Harbourfront for the People

Recent controversies over harbourfront planning in various districts of Hong Kong -

Kennedy Town, Central, Quarry Bay and Cha Kwo Ling (Kowloon East) - have raised

questions on land use, management and design. Our harbourfront public space is

diminishing and becoming less attractive. What can we do to create a harbourfront for the people? This Harbourfront Forum will invite academics, concern groups, members of the community and government officials to discuss the future of our harbourfront. All are welcome!
